Adaptation of the Regulatory Impact Analysis for the Regulation of Artificial Intelligence in Latin America

Given the lack of specialized methodologies for assessing the impact of artificial intelligence regulations in Latin America and the Caribbean, Nalanda developed a Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) framework adapted to the specific characteristics of AI governance, including assessment tools and analysis templates. The project included a pilot implementation of the framework on a proposed regulation in the region.
