Constitutional Defense of the Electricity Sector against State of Emergency Decrees

In response to the declaration of a State of Economic, Social and Ecological Emergency in Colombia and the issuance of related measures with a direct impact on the electricity generation sector, Nalanda intervened before the Constitutional Court in the automatic constitutionality control process, identifying formal and material defects, and formulating requests for provisional suspension, aiming to protect the legal security of investments in generation and the regulatory stability of the Colombian electricity sector.
